Although Hilbre High School is an Academy, we still adhere to the Local Authority Admissions arrangements, the School Admissions Code, School Admissions Appeal Code and other laws relating to admissions, and relevant human rights and equalities legislation.  Therefore, Wirral Local Authority co-ordinates the allocation of students to the school; it is not done by the staff or Governors of Hilbre High School.  Simply, we have retained and will retain the admissions criteria set by the Local Authority.
