Psychology

Psychology is offered as an optional course to students at Key Stage 4 and 5.

GCSE Psychology introduces students to key psychological concepts, research methods, and applications. It focuses on understanding human behaviour and mental processes through various psychological approaches and studies.

At A-level, Psychology provides an in-depth understanding of psychological theories, research, and real-world applications. Students develop critical thinking and evaluative skills, gaining a deeper insight into human behaviour. The A-level course builds upon the strong foundation developed at GCSE however, students who have not opted for GCSE Psychology may still choose to study the course at A-level.
