In this section, you can meet the Head of Year 7 for the 2024-2025 academic year and the Head of Key Stage 3. The video below is a quick welcome, but don't worry, you will be provided with plenty of information over the next few months to prepare you for your new start in September. We also have a "Welcome to Hilbre" Evening scheduled for Thursday 27th June 2024, 5.30 - 7.30pm for parents and new students.

Welcome Year 7, I’m really looking forward to working with you all . Year 7 is going to be a year full of new things, new people and new experiences. It will be a busy year and we will have a lot to learn about each other and lots of new things to find out about in lessons too. I hope you are all up for the challenge!

I know that some of you may be feeling a bit nervous about  what to expect but please don't worry, we know this is a big change and your form tutors will be ready to welcome you and help you get settled in. 

We will spend time helping you to find where different areas of the school are located, you will quickly find your way around and learn how to follow your timetable. You will be able to experience new and exciting subjects like Drama and Food technology. You will also see different rewards being introduced and opportunities for competition and challenge both inside and outside of lessons throughout the year. I hope lots of you will get involved and build up lots of pledge points.
