Hilbre High School

GCSE Results Day 2024

Students at Hilbre High School are thrilled to be receiving their examination results, which are a true testimony to their hard work and endeavour over the five years at school.

Mark Bellamy, Headteacher, is delighted to see so many smiling faces, in recognition of the successes achieved by Hilbre’s students. Mr Bellamy says, ‘I am so pleased we have such excellence in our school. Of course, this year we must pay tribute to the way our students have had to ‘catch-up’ on their learning, as this is the year where schooling was particularly affected by Covid when the students were younger. Well done to them for showing the mental resilience and aptitude to achieve the high levels of achievement that we see before us. We look forward to welcoming many of our students back into our thriving Sixth Form, in just a few weeks’ time.’

Hilbre congratulates a number of individuals on particularly outstanding achievement. Jack Rostron achieved six grade 9s and two grade 8s, demonstrating excellent outcomes over his time at Hilbre. Other mentions for outstanding achievement go to Cameron Warren, Ben Price and Evie Hanlon with a plethora of high grades scored.

Hilbre also recognises the excellent progress students make at the school, from their Year 7 beginnings until now at the end of Year 11. Special congratulations go out to Luke Williams, Katy Allum and Neave Taylor for the excellent progress they have made across the range of subjects studied.

This is yet another great year for Hilbre High, as it continues to go from strength to strength, with many delighted students returning to its Sixth Form in September.
