Personal Development Day - End of Year Trips

We are pleased to be introducing our “Personal Development Day” to the curriculum at the end of the Summer term.  This day is designed to allow students to celebrate their commitment to the Hilbre Pledges throughout the year.  The event will take place on Thursday 18th July.

The day will be arranged into sections allowing students to choose one activity that will take them out of school for a portion of the day, along with a range of in school activities designed to promote personal development and a specially arranged presentation by ‘loud speaker’ for each year group.

Students in Years 7 and 8 will be out of school on their chosen activity between 9.30 -12.30 (approx) they will have lunch in school as usual.  Students in Year 9 and 10 will be out of school on their chosen activity 11.30 – 2.30 (approx.).  Students in Year 9 and 10 will have a longer brunch in the morning before they leave for their activity.

Students will be able to choose from the activities in the table below.  Places are allocated on a first come first served basis and are for a fixed number of students.  Further details about clothing/food etc will be available nearer to the time.
